Thanks man it's just the first of many i'll probably have a build book of sketches to go along with the car when i actually get around to it.

Hell ya Inkmonkey, once again nice job. How long did it take to draw up that last drawing?, and I'm assuming you don't do a series of sketches to achieve that final one.
It's kind of funny. I just got a call yesterday and I'll be doing a concept for a guys '70 Chevelle build. I meet with him tomorrow so I'll post some pics through out the process.

actually that one i cheated a bit and used another car as an underlay and just made modifications to bodylines, parts, etc. Total overall maybe an hour and a half.

Malcolm those are awesome. I love seeing that kind of outside the box concepts.
Any chance on seeing the whole pictures or filling us in on what they say?

  11. I wouldn't have thought Corvette bumpers would look right on this but they do, especially on the front. No speed bumps where you live?

Here's another, well it's the same as the one up there but more refined and in technicolor ... oh and an in progress shot for those interested. Be kind i had to use a camera the rendering is too big for our scanner at work and i haven't done this kinda marker work in 4 years since college so i'm a bit rusty.

Love all of it so far...

Here's another I did about 20 years ago...a friend had a Model A cabriolet and a '37 Ford front clip...he wondered what it would look like put together, so I did it for him...his name is Mike...sadly, the car never got built and I don't know what ever happened to the cabriolet.

Time Traveller the bumpers were Rik's idea, we did a lot of bouncing back & forth for the build. I gave him several perimeter's of what I wanted to start with then we worked back & forth on the project with more ideas over a couple of month's to get it where I wanted. I think it will be a very striking stand out when done. As I said in the earlier there is about 100 body mods but it still has the 36 Roadster heritage but sleek & stylish.

I love concept work, it's my favorite thing to do artwise...work with proportions and just blue sky some ideas even if they would be way too much work for the end result. Some of mine:
