Ok, I liked it, but the talking cars was a bit goofy.

Thought it was going to be decent..boy I was wrong. Almost embarassing to watch.

I record car movies and stuff on Tivo then record to a DVD. Not this, just deleted it.

I bought it because I couldn't find another copy anywhere. The movie was... cute. And it really didn't need to be. That being said. I've watched it more than once.

I think it may not have been the best thing to people who already have an established history with roth and his builds...but as an introduction to people who know nothing about him it served as a good intro. Gotta introduce stuff to the masses somehow!

It was ok, I like hot rod documentary's and in a weird twisted way this is one of them but I do agree the talking car thing was kind of strange.

I agree with Frankie above. I was disappointed when it wasn't in the theaters around me. But I saw it last week finally and I'm glad I didn't waste my money at the theater on it. Wife enjoyed it lot more than me but she knew nothing of the guy before.

They had access to a lot of good info and pics, but failed to deliver. If the talking cars were meant for children, they succeeded. Sometimes it even appeared as though it was done in someones basement studio.

Big Daddy deserves a more mature documentary than this one, IMO.

    Maybe one day....
