Started on this board just recetnly and have been having fun and already met a few great guys. Live in Oswego NY HOME OF THE SUPERMODIFIEDS. I live for the 850 hp methonal burning speeddemons racing at oswego and on the ISMA and MSA series also. I hit on average 26 races a summer. My other passions are bikes and hotrods. Oh yeah and my two Basset Hounds "Studebaker and Desoto"
Hello, HOBO, I was born and raised in Oswego lived the until 19. Lived at the track wnt by Gioia's house alot, and Donnie Stevensons, and Jim Mulldoons. I grew up with Mike Mulldoon and Little Shawn. My Father was B/A of the painters union and drove at the big O the first year it opened, when it was dirt. Been living in Central Californis for the past 33 years. Raced dirt track for six years. Got back into hot rods 8 years ago. I have 4- 1956 Ford Pickups, a 30 Model A a 66 Ranchero a 69 Boss 302 Mustang , and a body of a 28 Essex (only not Ford) Go by the Car Shop at West third and Utica and say Hi to Joe and Brenda for me. I will go home to Oswego in July for harborfest !!!!!! Even tho I go to NASCAR races now Oswego Supers are still the best. Bill
Used to stay in Auburn in the summer back in the 70's and would hit the tracks in Weedsport, Oswego and Syracuse. Man those guys could race and those farm girls could party.
Hobo, Welcome to the HAMB from SoCal. I am a New Yorker also. I was from Malone N.Y. Haven't been there (except for a small visit or two) I left for the Air Force in '71. Hope you enjoy the Supers at Oswego ! 41 Dave
