I wouldn't risk pissing him off by taking stealthy pics if I wanted the car. That said, WTF would he care if you took pictures of a car you bought from him? Is it a marijuana farm or something?

  4. When you're dealing with mid 60s Vettes EVERYTHING is gonna cost a small fortune. Be prepared to spend 4 times what you think it should cost.

Might be other cars or STUFF in the gagrage he doesnt want any body else to see. Might be reason for not wanting pics taken....just a thought.

  6. Those were nice vettes. Do it right and you won,t regret.

  11. Not true..... The running gear is all Chevrolet and everyone and their brother makes replacement and performance parts.

Also, every part for this car (except the frame) is reproduced.

You can have a cool ass driver for little money.

I had 1965 Coupe, 327/365, Muncie four speed, sidepipes, basically stock car. I was 3rd owner.

I agree, if you want to make the car a 100 point Bowling Green Show Car, you can drop a ton of coin. But to have a car you can drive anywhere, shouldn't cost alot.

or you could just paint it flat black with red pinstripes like your '63 Impala "rat rod style, baby"...

Is he looking to sell any of the other cars?

  26. I love seeing those mid year Vettes done with straight axles! The Corvette purists go INSANE over that! Kinda hateful I know, but this the H.A.M.B. Ha ha:D

  27. Build a straight-axle 'Vette, paint it flat black with red wheels, throw a Mexican blanket over the bucket seats...THEN take it to Bloomington Gold!

Oh, Joy!!! Watching heads explode en masse would be soooo worth it!!!

Funny how you two don't really get it.^^^^

  29. Get the hood louvered and add vega tail lites and square headlites, high back honda seats and a killer bass and amp and PINK neon and hit the road

  30. I "get it" just fine, thanks. I happen to be a BIG 'Vette fan, but I still think it would be a riot to do what I mentioned. Your thoughts, of course, may vary.
