It's not in the rules, but personally I wouldn't want to imply that I'd built it.

I love that this thread is rated ONE star! A link to check out a BUNCH of cool traditional cars, a number of which are HAMBers', isn't cool, eh?

Did it! BTW the 30 model A in homebuilt by brad Gortsma is here in Spokane! I watched him build it and his father and him are the ones building my roller. Here in Spokane the Gortsma's are THE builders of choice!

It may not be the most traditional of the bunch but I just dig that 53 wagon.

Thanks Kirk, and you are doing a great job on the Gazzette! I know some of the "traditional minded" people are always hating on the GoodGuys shows thinking they are all about the Street Rods and Muscle cars but there continues to be more and more traditonal built cars showing up at the events. Many of them seem to end up in the Gazzette, thanks for helping to spread the word. Mike

    Hey thanks!

I know, there are tons of traditional rides at Goodguys events, but people feel like they have to hate on the "big" guy. Most of it's just human nature.

Not that trophies and praise are why most of us like the type of rides we like, but there are as many awards given to traditional stuff as there are to any other particular build style builds at Goodguys events.

Plus, one of my favorite parts is that they guys who were actually there "back in the day" come to Goodguys events and love to talk about old times. I have learned TONS from the guys who were there. Many people here and in the "traditional" world today have their made-up version of the "old days" that has become more important to them than who was actually there and what actually took place back then.
