Wayne (aka "Lucky" to most who know him, and Falfas55 here on the board) has had many '55 Chevys. He's had a Two-Lane car, a Grafitti car, a shiney black and white two-tone '55, etc. But this is the car I think he was meant to keep. He can fill you in on more of it's history, but it's the real deal. An old race car, fallen into despair and brought back to life. It's been two years in the making, and yesterday was the first time it breathed new life. Here's a few pictures of where it came from, in progress, and some near-finished pics.

I get that same grin every time I get in my '55. I like the white/black interior--nice car and nice save! And it's a 4-speed too. Gotta' have three pedals.

Nice 55..Really like the rear wheel openings. Did you flair them or were they already like that?

I think he might have to get used to buying his gas at the airport with all that compression! :)

I really like the '55, Wayne....I'm glad you stuck with it.

Really glad to see the 55's being restored and brought back in the publie eye. The 50's had to be one of the biggest turning points in racing history and engine break through in the tech department. This is going to be one of the real nice ones and looking forward to seeing it in the next few months make a few passes.
