It's been raining for a few days but the sun came out for the annual Chopperfest motorcycle show at the fairgrounds. I took my roadster pickup for a drive down there but I could feel the sting of winter as I needed a light jacket over my T shirt. After the Chopperfest I stopped by the Deadbeats car club show/food drive. 3 cans or 5 bucks got you in. Finished up the day by attending a small after bike show open house at Dan Collins' Old Gold Garage. All in all a pretty good day. I took some pics to share. A few from Chopperfest...... Deadbeats car show..... Acetylene torch paint job.... DE SOTO pulling in..... Here are a few pics from Dan Collins' get together. Thanks for the hospitality Dan!........ Here is Dan's personal East Coast survivor 34 coupe. Untouched for a long time. Part of a big truck rim for a scattershield. Square roll bar. A world famous HAMBer from Santa Barbara attended. rickyracer1962.

"I took my roadster pickup for a drive down there but I could feel the sting of winter as I needed a light jacket over my T shirt. " KIWI KEV I feel bad for you! About 6 inches of snow already here. I've decided I hate my wife for making me move back here to our winter wonderland!! Snow is best viewed from a distance, a long distance!! Looks like you and the others had a good time for a good cause. Thanks for the pics!
I had a good time at the bike show as well. being the 80's metal fan and all I was pretty stoked to see Gilby Clarke playing at the show. Got to meet a few west coasters at Dan Collins' after party, then we went to Old Crow and the Bigfoot Lodge with Lucky and a couple of cheeseheads. good times.
