Heres a quick run down on my Falcon build...

    probably better to look here

    http://s236.photobucket.com/albums/ff267/new_falcon_owner/falcon/?start=all

or the condensed version in my album here.

going to be a Ford FE390 4speed, MII front end, shortened Ford 9in with 3.50 trac-loc, full framed and braced, ladder bar rear with coilovers, tilt hood, torque thrusts 15x10 rears 15x4-1/2 fronts,

theres a lot better pix in my photobucket album.. I took pix of almost every update Ive done to the car..

should be rolling soon, just waiting on control arms and rotors so i can use the front torque thrusts.. pix will follow when its out of the garage..

    heres a few teaser pix.

its jsut a iron headed carb'd 390.. stock for now.. i will refresh it all, maybe a nice cam, alum intake and 750DP,custom headers, but have to finsh the rolling part and bodywork so the motor is on the bench till spring.

Your 62 is looking badassed. You are making some great headway, you must spend all youre free time in the shop.If I can suggest something, while you can get to it,I would stitch weld all the front subframe connections to the firewall and floor. It is all just sheetmetal spot welded together, been there, done that.Keep the updates coming. ROY.

    Hey Rick.

The Falcon looks cool outside !!

I need to start putting my 390 together, it is too cold for me in the garage thougg...(it has gotten to the upper 20's here, I am part reptile and go extinct below 40 degrees...lol)

Looking forward to your nest update.

bolted an auto trans to the motor and set it in after trimming away some firewall and flooring.. This way i wont have a hard time removing bolts,etc.. I still need to level the motor side to side, then make my stands..

FALCON...yes yes what a nice build. and those iron heads on a 390 have big valves and ports. believe me you will save serious cash in using them. that old huppy will scare you pants off. but atleast it looks like a safe build. man i would love to have it. please post as you move forward...POP.

FALCON...I just saw your latest pics. doe's your engine have duel oil pickups? i'am very concerned about how much material you removed in bottom pan! WHY? because i'am a master engine builder, maby it's nothing or a very BIG something! listen to me now, or listen to the engine later. don't understand? that my friend could be a very important issue...POP.

thanx,, it will have 2 plugs, i copied a canton pan, and will have a 4x4 truck pickup tube going to the back. the back isnt closed in yet, waiting for a tube to set height. I didnt remove any from the height, just the middle to fit around my rack and crossmember, and its abit deeper in the back then a stock pan (hense waiting for a tube) :) also i will make a crank scraper when time comes... thanx for all the comments and help :)
