Another no chop vote. The chop makes the front sheet metal look long as well as the bed. Chopped trucks really need the bed shortened about 6" to look in proportion. Just my 2cents.

that's a great truck chop or no chop. i think if it were me, i would do no chop, ultra low the way you have it mocked up, just with nice paint.

it will be pretty hard to f up that body style though. they are so nice.

    I have a 292 W/ a 4 speed, or a 283. I want to do the 292(y-block) but its in peices. If I do the 283 I'm gonna just put some vette valeve covers, and a 3x2.

Looks like a kool truck. I have a hankering for one someday too. I'd save the V8-60 for the modified, especially if you're gonna be towing with this truck!

  24. The lines flow great on those old Fords-no need to chop. Ford powered.

I like the 4" chop. I think it fits the truck. Full fenders, Wide whites , Low as you have it, Hi gloss metallic (not metalflake) paint. Nothing custom accept the chop. Easy for me to say though.

No chop! That thing is very cool just like that, If you could have it riding that low (with room for the suspension of course) would be even cooler.
