Thanks everyone...Im still up in KS...finished up all the funeral stuff and Ill be heading back to the beach tommorow. Im glad everyone likes the new headers...Its just like everything else (personal pref) but I really like them. Now Im looking at how I am going to baffle them (car chemistry has a 7 inch baffle that I may alter and try to fit) well see but thanks again to everyone!!!

  7. The headers do look good - did you say what they are actually for? Are they fenderwell headers? I'd really consider going ahead and running pipes under the car and out the back. I toughed it out with baffled headers for a while. It was much more sane when I added the rest of the exhaust. Its still really loud too - its just more sane out the back. Makes trips over an hour a little more tolerable. Just my two cents :)

Rock em' with the baffels, see how you like it! Gota give it a go... you can always add the rest of the exhaust later, if you can't stand it.

I ordered my new 3" inch diameter/10'' long collectors and the 3 ring 7" baffles for both headers. Nothing better than cutting up a brand new set of headers...Im not to fond of the lower part of the fenderwell headers and now they will be baffle compatible! Cant wait for them to get here!!!

Yeah they are here. Family in town for christmas but I got out to the garage for about 30 min to start on my headers. I cut the old collector off and started working on my new 3'' collectors. Heres a pic still dont know what angle Im going to go with just have them lightly tacked on but it will give you an idea of the look. I hated the old collector and I have the 3 disk 7'' collector inserts to dim the sound down a little.....

I know how you feel man, I'm trying to get it done in time for the show but everyday something else slows me down. If you want some inspiration, go to Dons museum. That's what I do. Good luck.

Sad to hear you're selling the car after you've put in so much hard work.Been in the same position myself, more than once!
What you won't loose are the skills and knowledge you've gained on this build to use on the next one.
Hope it all works out O.K.,Isaac,
