I think you're being a little too sensitive. This particular thread is about Van Nuys cruising, not directly about HAMB friendly rods. Vans, Muscle Cars, Cobras, Vettes, Roadsters, Coupes, Hearses, Bikes, and YES Low Riders ARE cruisers. As the pictures from recent cruises have shown.

Heck, if they can accept street racers they can accept anyone. LOL

I think even Groucho had a Low Rider period.

I think this photo by Adriene posted earlier in the thread addresses that traditional crap only fairly well, though there are no lowriders in this particular photo, unless you're considering the perspective of the truck driver. Ha!

 

I was just hackin on people that pussed cause of the rain.And hackin on the people on here that take their "traditional" selves seriously.

 

When I said no-one, it was an exageration to make my point. Two dozen or so cars compared to over 1000, is pretty much no-one in my book.. I too was there, and still used the term no-one. And I didn't get butt-hurt over it

 

Her name now is Mary Baltzell. She is married to Lee Baltzell. They race a Pro Street style Firebird, the last I heard. They come around to the local cruise spots once in a while.

Where did the Camaro rack it up? Was it Oxnard, perhaps?

OK cruisers this is the spirit!!! The LA Times is going to be covering
the cruise this month (just got the word) and I'm not sure what other news crews. Lets have
a good show of how generous we cruisers can be, and what an asset we
are to the community. Remember a little good publicity can go a long way Spread the word to all the clubs, all your friends. A new unwrapped toy to this month's cruise.

That's ok Grouch, I was there with ya and felt like noone too. Compared to the virtual zoo that was there the month prior. So there, I say noone too. And I'm not butt hurt about it either.

 

Boy, I haven't seen a bunch crybabies like this since I saw all those law chair
enthusiast the other night crying about the possibility of rain Wednesday night, and they won't be able to whip out their lawn chairs.
