This is not Brett's, but a nice one from Brizio's shop.

Actually, that is my old car. I sold it to John in Jan. I put the stock grill and some BLC's back on it before i sold it. Also finished the leadwork on the chop. :(

WHAT!! You sold that car?? I could never sell a car that cool. So now what do you drive?
    OBTW, welcome to the HAMB!!

  9. Your 3 window is was of the best looking 32s out there, that's a bummer you had to sell it. What happened with Rancid? I've been a fan for many years.

I thought about living in the 3W, but i like my home a little better. Had to sell it to pay bills.. but hey; i got enjoy the car for many years. You can always build a new one down the line... like this thing i'm making:

I had to re up the post hoping to see a fresh pic of that car. The best 3 window built I think! Thanks for posting some fresh ones. I hope on the next one, the parts "Just fall together" and you "accidentally" have one as badass as the last!

The new ride looks to be another well thought out example of your craftsmanship and design talents. I am sure John will keep your old car as he does all of his. I took that picture when I went to Roy's open house this year. I new he owned it but didn't recognize it as yours. One of the best possessions he has IMHO. I hope it leaves it alone.

    Thanks for the compliments. :)

He's told me he's having a blast driving it just as it is. He's stoked he can just jump in and go, not to worry about screwing up some of those immaculate rides in his collection.

It looks like you're gonna be back in the saddle in no time with that new ride. Keeps us posted with progress. '27 roadsters are the cat's PJs!!

  20. I couldn't see the pics of the T earlier 'cause I was at work. Wow! Very nice. Looks very well thought out. Good job.

Sups, dudes. Just thought i'd update on the life of that '32.
Mumford had Brizio turn it into a full on Bonneville car. Their first pass out, one of the door safeties wasnt engaged and the drivers side flew open on Roy at about 160mph. Crunched the quarter, but tech let them pull both doors off and they ran it that year with no doors.
    Here's some pix:

And a link to the build: http://www.roybriziostreetrods.com/progress/mumford_32/index.htm

    Crunch: [IMG] :(
They were able to save the quarter and re-skin the door.

Unknown to me, they ran the same street motor (383) i'd built for it. It held together for a few years of Speed Week runs before they broke a rod. Top speed was somewhere in the 180mph range.
Although i miss her, it's great to see it doing the deal.
    Anyhoo, that's what's up with that. ;)
