Great photo. I found one of my great aunt and uncle similar to that.

Thank you for everyone's great comments.

I gave her the picture this weekend. She liked them a whole lot. I found out that was his first car. He traded a cow and another animal to get it. They got married the next year, and at that time he had a 2 door, 37 Chevrolet doctor's coupe.

P.S. That photoshop job of moving the car looked really awesome

  10. I LOVE that! I have some of the "Then & Now" books from various cities, where they take old pictures of streets and buildings from decades past and try to take the same picture from the same angle as today. You could spend hours studying those. Anyway, that's kind of what that reminds me of, except the books don't go to all the trouble of posing people and getting the cars similar and stuff. That's really cool!

Great job! I would get rid of the new electrical on the wall and the window unit for near perfection! Just my worthless 2cents

I think it is badass!! That is a great idea, I think you pulled it off great. If I were you I'd be proud to have that on my wall!!

  14. See, I kinda like that in there. I'd rather be able to see the changes so you can tell what's actually the same, instead of an artificial presentation where you have no idea what you're looking at. Either way, it is cool, though.

    Pretty cool!

I wouldn't sweat the leaves, since you are not wearing suspenders, a tie, or have your sleeves rolled up as high... ;) :D

That is something! Neat to hear the back story, too.
I'm sure they just flopped on the car for a second for the picture, never thinking all these years later someone would try to copy the pose.
