I did't take any pics tonight, but got the frame worked out. Getting everything squared up means alot.

Kevin, those frame rails are coming out slick. What a difference from that fist pic where everything is all square and shit! Even better, I can see in this photo some of the other projects in the shop. You got some good iron sitting around there.

Man, I'd love to have all that stuff in my shop. That pic is what I'm shooting for. That is the Wade Coupe. Just a reference shot that I posted. Sorry for the confusion... Glad you have that much confidence in me though... HA.

Mine will look really close to that.

Looking good, I like the look of the frame. Should look great on your sedan. What engine are you gonna run? I see some flathead stuff in the garage, but the car has a Chevy belhousing.

Thanks alot. It will be a 385 Cid Small block Chevrolet with aluminum heads and a 4-speed. Should be lotsa fun... Right?

I've got flathead stuff everywhere, but this one is staying Chevrolet powered.

Man those wishbones look awesome. This car is really gonna be cool when you get done. I see blue tape but its still not chopped. Have you decided on how much you are going to chop the top?

I really like what you have done with your sedan. I have a project A model sedan so I'll be watching your progress. Looking good. I'm also waiting to see the chop. Show us pictures.

After alot of thinking and lost sleep, I'm not gonna chop it... This might bring on alot of shit, but its going to stay stock height.

Yeah I know.... A Speed Shop guy with an UNchopped sedan? Everybody chops their sedans. I'm gonna leave mine stock.

Let me know what you think?

I'm tryin' Josh. Glad you guys like the progress. I'm waiting on a few parts to get here from Speedway and I should be ready to weld everything up and move on to the floorboards and sheetmetal work.

You sure you want to ride with me?

I like the chopped sedans too... Everybody around here has a chopped one. Only good thing is, we can still chop it. Kinda hard to un-chop it though.

Glad you like it Rayford. When are we gonna have another shin-dig at your shop?

    Later,
    Kevin

The T&F shifter you asked about was shown in a recent Street Roder magazine being installed in a car in Cour De lene, Idaho. The shifter is made in at small town near Salem, Oregon. You can find them on the web. I called them and the delivery time is 5 to 6 weeks. Cost is $450. Shipping in the western states is free. I didn't purchase one as that is a little steep for my budget.

Thanks for the shifter info guys. Has anybody tried one of these shifters? I'm pretty hard on stuff, just wondered about the quality? Should be pretty damn good for $450.

As you see in most of the pics, "Clutch" is a big old lazy ass. He is perfectly happy as long as he gets to hang out with us in the garage. At 3 years old, he's pretty chilled out compared to most. Its a good thing, he weighs 91lbs. so when he wants to play... He can ruff you up!
