First time posting in the art show! Crazy group of talent here! I typically do comic book stuff, but here are some car related stuff. Mostly quick sketches, one I slapped some PS color on. Catwoman is kinda pinup-ish.. sorta... more to my normal stuff, sorry if it should only be car stuff.

Hey guys, great work in here! I check this show out every Friday in awe of the talent. Awesome stuff and a wide variety to keep you thinking. Anyway, here's my first submission to the FAS that I did recently.

Once again everyone has outdone themselves...Great Art Show as always!

  25. Discovering the "Friday Art Show" has been one of the best things about being here on the H.A.M.B. - Constantly amazed & inspired by the talent displayed every week.

Here's a "New Old Sign" I made up a while back. Cheap pine table blank from the local hardware store that was painted, sanded, then painted, & sanded again, knocked around the garage, sanded some more etc. etc. till it looked right.

    That's too damn cool!
My buddy Marty has made several car sculptures, usually late model dirt cars. He starts with wood, then carves in details or adds to it with clay. I got him turned on to Aves Epoxy Putty & he loves it. Here's a rod of his that's still in the "work in progress" stage.

  30. Thanks Paulatxntric-
100E for sure. Guess that's why I ran with this 'generic' drawing. More a homage to late 50's Petersen mags & GM/ Ford 50's compacts.
I have a soft spot for George Barris' early use of plastics too. 'Modern Grecian' = Groovy !

    Super show this week.
3AMIDEAZ- An all- Mopar Art Show'd rock.
    The Rookie- Coookin...
TimeBombKustoms- always enjoy your posts. Remind me of the pioneer Jon Kosmoski & his amazing legacy of eye candy.
Below is a rough pen sketch I did on the bus yesterday. You can see every bump in the road !
