    Welp, there was never a doubt with me, but I just gotta say, you are the friggin mang, mang. Great thought process on doing the door tops, Im going to use that idea.

    2ND one.......Not as many cuts, Not as many mistakes= Half the time to do the 2nd door top.

    The reason for the larger gap by the door is Omar had somebody fix the door problem with a porta-power and the gap ended up a little too big. I followed the gap as is and the bodyman will fix it with maybe a rod? or filler?? It really isn't that bad IMO!!

    Well....That's my second chop...I wish my first one would have come out as clean as this one since my first one is my own car:(, but it is what it is!!

    I was gonna round them but Omar wants them like this now. Maybe later after he gets the other stuff done, floors , patch panels, etc.... Im not doing the latter. Got another chop coming on monday!! 51 Chevy Coupe, mild chop.

    Hey Ian, I just realized that all these pics you're takin' and showing us could be printed on nice glossy paper for Omar, and to stay with the car for all time!....Maybe you've done that already. Rick

    Good call!! I've been doing that with the chevy, still updating as i go! Its cool stuff to share at car shows and such!

    Thank you so much!! Im happy on the lines for sure. It's my first time cutting somebody else's car and i have to say i was pretty nervous but i didn't want Omar to know......Now you know bro!!:D

    so where do you get the glass from after you chop it? do you make a template and just take it to a glass guy to cut out?

    i still cant believe this is my car????? 6 or 7 long years of doing nothing and its one step closer to being done!!!! thanks sooo f--ken much Ian!
    im sooo stoked!!!!!:D i still have a long way to go, but now im so much more motivated to get this done! floor next and then body work! Ian will work on this car again! thanks again homie!!!!!!!! i will keep posting!

    The rear glass is stock, the front glass is flat so pretty much any glass shop can do that, and the side glass is the same, just a little trimming. Templates are a must.
