California Hot Rod Reunion, Who's Going?

I will be there! This is by far my favorite event of the year! Only my 3rd time going, and I love it! Hope to meet some fellow hambers.

i and 3 friends going out from indiana and michigan, second time for me, maybe 3rd for them. great time!!! hope to meet some of you guys.

 

All day Friday for us. Double Tree Friday night, back Saturday AM, and then off to Pomona swap meet around lunch time

 

Haven't missed one yet! Will be there with a couple of Scroungers, Chris and Mike from New Zealand. Really looking forward to it.

 

I'll be there with Gasser Jeff crewing for the Veneys Vega. Nothing better then the starting line at the Patch.

I didn't think any Gas Classes except A/Gas were allowed to compete at the HRR.

Good news! Golf carts and other pit vehicles will be banned from the Grove and Manuf. Midway, and best of all....no damn carts piled up at fence. There was one guy last year who had a set of lifts installed on the golf cart, pulled up in front of everybody, put down the lifts to raise the cart in the air and proceeded to block the view of everyone around. Gues he thought he was a privileged character.

 

Anyone staying at the Marriot at the Convention center?

For you old drag racers out there, Frank Oglesby will be there. Stop by Joel Gruzens pit and say hi! Lippy (stuck in Ks this year).

 

Who ever wants to stop by and say hi,...do it,..I will have handouts all weekend long,...I will also be running the exhibition class as a hard charging alky funny car,...see yas all there.

Is it difficult to get a parking place in the grove on Saturday, thinking about taking the truck up for one of its longer drives just didn't want to get their and be disappointed. Whats the admission spectator, plus +++.
Or is it all ready full up.

The guys left with the Hayden Proffitt 62 bubbletop early in the week from OK, and Hayden is flying in, so he and the car will be there
