Who's got a 59 galaxie out there?

Four door with bumper guards, exhaust extensions optional hub caps, power seat and power windows. It's got a 352 with a 4 barrel carb and factory dual exhaust.

 

59 skyliner (hard top retractable ) ive had it about 6 years now.

 

Got 2 59s ones a galaxie club victoria with 292 and 2-stage auto original condition with 115,000mls.Just imported it from Colorado and cant stop driving it, just so nice to drive. Also got a 59 custom 300 4dr thats a project due for rebuild one day when time allows.

i dont own this one, its a clients car but its a nice one. these cars have lots of potential for mild customs...

bone stock, has an exterior paint job and the interior was redone decent:

Here is Mine. 68K miles on her. I bought it local from the Origonal owner and have driven it about 6K of those miles. Un-molested and stock to the Nuts. I love it but I'm going to half to change a few things. Stock is just a good place to start, right? I also have a Fine 59 Edsel Wagon for sale but that's another story. If you look closly you can see it in the background.

Another '59 wagon... I got this from my uncle and it'll be my wife's car someday...

 

The stock upholstery is very nice but aging. That will get re-done with a little twist from stock. Cut a Coil and blocks, wheel and tire it. A little Chrome under the Hood. Paint is a consideration but not necessary. Just going to give it a little Flavor so it don't look like I borrowed Aunt Mildred's grocery getter every time I drive it.

Where can I get a heater core for my 59?

 

Take your old core to any good Rad shop and they will put your ends on a core cut to size. I just did that last year and it cost me around $150.oo.

I had a '59 Fairlane 500 2 door post about 10 years ago, it had a 352/3 speed stick in it and was from Texas, was a great car. I'll try to find some pictures of it.

That one is gone, but now I have a '59 Edsel 2 door sedan which is very similar, here's a thread I started on it a while back, there are updated pictures on the second page.

Actually I DID make my own man and have a picture of him holding a POSSUM.
