I think you should either put it in a barn for 20 years and by then that look will be back in style. Or just bring it to alaska. Some of the mullet loving rat music playing guys up here would give you 20 grand for it. Think this place is in a time warp.
Yep, wasn't I a full member of the club with the Buick ??? Love your car by the way....I may have drooled on it a little in Norton....
nice score, my truck had that SAME 80's look. it was yellow and even had the same damn wheels hahahaha and it too was full of bondo! perhaps its from the same guy???
I thought I'd post an updated photo....I'm still working on it, I'm waiting on a new radiator to get here, I've changed out the water pump, all hoses, thermostat, basically everything involved with the cooling system. I've completely gone through the ignition system, the wiring, and have a new fuel tank / straps / sending unit waiting to be installed. I also just ordered a disc brake kit for the front. When I'm done, just about every line that holds and transports fluid will be replaced. Hopefully this all adds up to a summer of uneventful driving.....
You must have the pipes in a safe storage area. Do they rent safe deposit boxes at the bank that large? Looks cool. Drive it by Ellis this summer.
Bob, if you come back to KS I will give you the side pipes, but I'm not going to polish them .......you can polish your own pipes......we don't do that sort of thing here in KS.....
86 the wheels and slide pipes, but I actually like the console and steering wheel. You dropped that guy's dick in the dirt for $6500. Basketcase 55 hardtops go for twice that. Good deal all the way around.
Nice wheels. Craigers? (sp) I dig a '55 with craigers. A friend of mine had one years ago. I went with him when he bought it. He stopped at a car wash on the way home and it never ran right after that. We pushed that damn thing more than it ran. He finally got fed up and sold it. The guy that bought it replaced the wiring harness in it and it ran like a scalded dog. He used to come to his house and do burnouts just to rub it in. Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread, Your car just brought back old memeroies. Congradulations on a nice car.
