JamesD,,,,,although i'm pretty set on a light color (off white pearl, greenish silver pearl), i'm curious to see if a dark color just might look good,,,,,,if you have some time, could you possibly do one for me in black (keeping the copper color on bottom),,,,basically just to satisfy my curiousity, , ,you never know,,,a dark color may work,,gotta explore all the options,,,,,

Yep thanks, It's not horrible. My ideal would be with some nice gun metal corvette rallys and the opposite rake. I can't afford to rechrome all an entire Belair setup. So I'm flirting with painting it all silver or gloss black. and using Hotrod flatz in some color.

I'd also paint the roof body color...

BTW. this is just a stock profile photo. My car is not anywere near this nice.

This is the car that got the black bumper look in my head.

    Thanks!!

    LMAO!

Well I suppose I can add it to the haunted car thread that's been going around!

can you imagine if you were working on it in your basement garage, doing a little sanding, maybe fooling with some chemicals...and then it appears...REDRUM!.....I'd need to change my jockeys.

but seriously...is there any help for it, or am I F'd?

Somebody already shopped it lowered. I want to see some paint. Use your best judgement and creativity. I need some inspiration.

first of all, you guys are awesome. super talented. i really appreciate what this thread does for everyone! now i would love a little help

my car is about to go to the body shop. i want a green similar to what i just painted my motorcycle. see attached.

i have been on the fence with running the stock stainless moulding, or filling the holes. could i please see my car in a green with the moulding so i can see if it looks mega lame or not? i also threw in a car with moulding just in case you need that... i'm also gonna get my wheels gloss black with spider caps. but you don't need to go to all that trouble.

    thanks so much,

    branden

  26. Please keep the moulding! These things are pretty slab sided already - anything you can do to relieve that is worth doing.:)

  27. I have the PS file saved at work (since I had a hunch you might ask!) so I´ll do it tomorrow.:)

Thanks for the fast work. I'm liking it!

I'm totally gonna rock the moulding. I just need to buy the shit now.
