That car just oozes cool, seems pretty authentic when he leaves the wrecking yard.

Two different Chevelles in that crash. It starts with a '69 and when it crashes it's a '68. Pretty tricky.

  9. Great clips. I love that 57 but it coulda done without the phoney birdcatcher scoop. The cut wheelwells on it look fantastic. I wonder what became of this car?

Kickass you found the clips on youtube. I looked all over for awhile and couldnt find the movie or on the net. Next to Hollywood Knights that was the next best 57 Chevy movie car I ever seen.

How do I get a copy?

Come on, somebody must know about that 57 chevy. That car is way too cool, not to know who owns it,or where it is.FALFA

I was thinking the same thing... With the power of the HAMB, and all the car shows that are attended, someone may have seen this car.

Wow! I stopped working on my car to see this again. 30 mins of non wasted time lol!

The only thing I didnt like about the movie then and now is the wheels they threw on the Chevelle. I had a 68 Elky when this episode came out.

Brad Pitt rocks to cheesy music. hehe...

Looks a lot like a friends car.

LOL... that Chevelle handles like a dream!

    Awesome episode!

I always liked the episode where the guy was handcuffed to a dead motorcycle cop in the middle of the desert. I remember seeing that one when I was a kid.

Oh yeah,.........I hear 'ya about that scene where the '57 pulls out of the junkyard and he puts the pedal-to-the-metal and kicks that beautifully-finned beast squirrelly a bit! If that doesn't get 'ya grabbin' for the remote control to rewind a few seconds and watch again.......then you ain't one of us!

image.jpg Search Tales From The Crypt "King of The Road" for the full episode. That 57 is so bad ass, and my inspiration for my 57. :)
