Hey Kenny P, your truck is killer! Would it be possible to get some details on it? What size tires are you running and what are you using for suspension front and rear? How much is the rear of the frame notched? Thanks in advance! I hope to get some work done on my '55 soon and when I do I'll update my thread and throw some pictures up here as well. Later, Roger

Wife's '56 Ford F-100
Uses a 1978 Chevy frame, front & rear suspension,350/350, steering column, fuse panel and GM Truck Ralley Rims

 

RetroSteel is that a factory 10 or 12 bolt chevy (GM) pickup rear axle, and ralley wheels. Will it fit under the rear fenders if you use the ford factory frame. Also are those 7 or 8in ralleys and what size tires. And I have one other ? that I bet no one can answer. Can you put GM pickup rotors on 78 Camaro spindles, you know for 5 on 5 all the way around.

 

I've gone the other way and put Camaro rotors on pickup spindles with some wheel bearing research.

 

Oh man I love those Blazers! ^^^ they're all rusted away in Ohio.

Here's Mine.I'm building what I like to call a Rat Rod with Class,meaning this truck will appear to be a Rat but it will have AC and Heat , 700R4,all glass and be a daily driver.I hope to get at least 25-28 mpg. Who says Going Green has to be Boring.
