When the rain subsided, I decided to g oup and check out the show. Most of the entries tend to be toward the "Rodent" variety. Not my cup of tea but then I do salute creativity where ever it shows up.More cars this year. Some nice ones showed up.They also had a good improvement in bikes and the band was pretty good. Nice preunit Triumph This PU always had a crowd. I think it was driven up from FLA. No idea about the frame. Santa's sleigh? Gotta be careful where you park! Nice Caddy! I loved this car.Check out the window treatment. Nice Buick. I wonder if he traded grilles with a 53 Pontiac? Nice simple A.Nuff said. Nice simple bomber. It had some good chi chi on it. Nice stuff always cruising through. Nice trophies too.My car won one last year but I had already left. ENJOY!
Thanks for posting pics of some of the good stuff, here are a few more borrowed from the 'net. BTW that's my T-Bird in the pic of the slammed blue A. The gold Merc belongs to Tom from the Road Rockets up in Indy and got our club pick (the trophy pictured above) and we won the club participation award.
Holy hell that show was a blast and the Poor Boys of Tennesee sure know how to make you feel welcome. We had four cars come down from Indy, never been, but I assure you we will make this every year now. A bunch of great people that in turn became great friends.
