Remember all the photos I have posted in the past few months from my late friend Dick Bridgewater who died the first of the year? He was a long time swap meet vendor at Hershey and Carlisle and Charlotte and others. Well his wife karen is having an auction soon (Sept. 12th) and has alot of truck parts (mostly Ford) and a few cars and parts. Some whole vehicles too. Here is a link to the auctioneer's website ad. http://www.carrauction.com/sep12/

Very nice stuff there. If you come across the center hood trim from the 48-50 Ford COE, grab it for me.

I met Dick one time a couple years ago. He was on his way to Carlisle with a trailer load of cabs and parts. Chatted for a few at Cracker Barrel. What a great guy to talk too. RIP Dick.

    Later,Bill

but not the biggest or juiciest or tastiest. "best" doesn't really say much does it? Perhaps you should use a more descriptive term. Might I suggest... smallest or cutest or "least intrusive"

Poverty, let us know what you brought and some of the price tags especially on the panel and the other fairly complete vehicles.

I wish I would have seen this thread earlier, I might have been able to swing a road trip.

35 Panel was $10,500, 48 Ford 4WD was $2900, and 37 Ford firetruck cab and chassis was $2500 and the 58 Chevy Cameo was about $10,000 I think. I was not a buyer today. I was there for moral support and friendship. I have plenty of stuff and not looking for more. A few out of state buyers including CO, WI, UT, IN, OK, MO and so forth. Not a real big crowd but big enough. Nice weather today.

Thanks for the numbers. The way my finances has been the last couple of years I shouldn't be buying right now anyways.

I agree moral support and friendship means alot.
