Heres a few shots mostly from the track. Had a great time, the amount of cars and people was amazing and I'm sure a little overwhelming to our hosts who seemed to take everything in stride and pull off another incredible event. Thanks Ryan Marcie and all who helped out.
I just drove my old dodge pick-up and didn't really plan on doing alot of racing like past years which gave me more time to enjoy the event, talk with people and watch the racing. I talked with so many people I can't even begin to remember and was really good to see so many old friends. I especially had a good time talking with Dirty2 (Danny) and Danyelle thursday nite before all the crazyness started.
Thanks to my traveling partners Jho (Jason) Jess, Malcolm, Uncle John and his daughter Christine for helping to make it a great weekend. A special thanks to DW... it was pretty cool watching your car make a couple 10 sec. passes and I don't think I've ever seen a 9" ford rear come apart like that. Hope everyone made it home safe. Gary

Damn my 2nd and 3rd jobs, I'm going next year. Looks like my 63 Galaxie would have felt right at home.

  28. Those are some great shots!

I think my favorite race car at this year's event was Hooley's "Okie Twister" Henry J. Hooley is a competetive driver and pushed that car HARD from the lights thru the traps, like it's supposed to be run. I was excited to see him drive.

Sorry for the guys that broke. D.W. got into the 10s so he was a happy camper and that seemed to take the sting out of trashing his rear end.
He was still smiling in the end!

I also liked the pic of D.W. and Danny's, excuse me, Danyelle's Anglia.
    Both are hard running cars.
Vicki was telling me that at the Ladies of the HAMB get together on Friday evening, the gals were talking to Danyelle and someone asked if her Anglia was there and she said, with disapointment, "Yes, but it's on a trailer" :(
We thought that was pretty funny, coming from a girl her age.
