25 years ago I bought my first car that year. A 2 owner, 60k mile, 65 Marlin. But w/a factory AMC 327, buckets and and console I was doing alright I thought!

Got to keep in mind I was only 13.

This pic was taken in Nov. of 88. The Cad. in the background is one of the other cars I drove while in high school.

Had a Sony Walkman I used to listen to while I rode, I can hear Drop Dead Legs and Rock Candy now!

  4. In the summer of 1984, my daily driver was an O/T 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider:

... I still have both cars!

  5. 1966 Dodge Coronet 500. I've owned this car since March 1980, and am the second owner. It's not HAMB-friendly, but so what!

I was one month old 25 years ago from today. I was driving my mom crazy no doubt.

My parents were still sporting their 83 Shelby Charger that they bought new. It was a lemon even for those cars, but they kept it around till the late 80's when I could remember riding in it. (new engine helped a lot.)

  21. Lets see that would have been 1984, right?

I sold my pan in 85 so I would have had a 49 101" Panhead. A real pan head stroked the hard way not a repop.

And a '68 plane jane Torino with a boss 429 lurking where the winsor should have been. Not trad by any stretch of the imagination but it was one helluva lot of fun to drive.

Sorry I've always been real bad about not keeping pics of anything.

Was still driving my '76 black 'n gold Trans Am that I bought new in '76, but sold it to restore my very first car that I bought when I turned 16. . . a '63 Thunderbird M-Bird with 340 h.p. 390 and tri-power. . .took 1st in National Concourse Competition in K.C.
All the while, enjoyed cruisin' and showin' my '56 Ford 2 door Wagon with 302, tunnel ram, 4-speed, disc brakes, etc. that I built from the pile o' crap pictured. It was featured in Rod 'n Custom in October 1990!!

33 years ago, I traded the Barracuda Gran Coupe for the T/A. . .wish I still had 'em both!!

Okay, Steve -- CONSIDERING THOSE COOL CARS -- I figure . . . Hmmmmmmm???? -- the RUSSIONS must have discovered that you'd found the Nazi plan for a working COLD-FUSION reactor?

Why would anybody sell off such great metal?

Simple logic here: THE RUSSION BASTARDS, as usual!
