This is awesome. What a great idea! Pinup painted on old hot rod/drag pages.

Friday is here again? Dang. I mean, Yay! I mean, wait up, another week gone? Jeez. . . Outstanding work here . . . pinstripers are rockin, too. I originally joined H.A.M.B. to find a pinstriper in the Atlanta area and youse guys recommended Brian Papa. Thanks, cause not only is he a real cool cat, but he travelled to the little ol' garage that was easing a 302 into my '63 and laid down a sweet 3-color job...

You guys never cease to amaze me! It just gets better every week!
here's mine for this week. Not sure where I got the original photo. It's pencil on illustration board. I added the flames and whitewalls.

Great stuff as usual. I always check out the FAS and support by buying shirts and posters when I can.

Here is a piece I did today in PS from a drawing I had. Had a blast doing it.

Pharouh-- that's nothing to be ashamed of! Not sure why, but 40 Ford Coupes really give me a fit every time I try to draw one. But they are such beautiful cars...

  23. Ed T. you are amazing. I love the feeling of motion in the first piece and the feeling
of weight in the coupe. Beautiful work.

Jeff N. the Merc is stellar, especially the second. WOW!

There are way too many fantastic works this week to go through without forgetting someone so here's a big GREAT SHOW for everyone.

I'm posting a couple humble offerings just to be a part of it all, just for fun...

These were some options I gave the Unique Tin guys for the Pin-up in their poster:

I'll incorporate this into something more complete some time,
Would you like fries with that?

Tex Avery's Li'l Red Ridin' Hood was the inspiration here. I took a wee bit
    of license here to make it more my own but kept faithful to the original;

    Pharouh,

Looks like most here don't go for the photos as much as the hand drawn work, so I really appreciate your comment.

Onearmbandit: Your work is among the best in the world. Since I started pinstriping a few years ago, I've always tried to strive to make lines as clean as yours. I haven't gotten there yet, but I always try. Simply perfect.

    Wow that's beautiful. VERY nice.

Gorgeous work. Just perfect. The lighting on it is done incredibly.

  29. Bob,

I actually really love your work. It has been a great addition to the mix.
I'm very curious about your technique and how you achieve an almost illustrated look. I will PM you about it some time.
