A customer of mine has a super cherry set of A fenders from his Tudor, and I am kicking around the idea of doing a fendered, no hood car. Its a change in direction, but not too late in the game.

    What do you think?

fenders are cool...put em on for a while then take em off for a while...that is my plan with my 34 pick up....2 looks in one..

Shit I think that would be pretty fucking rad!!!! Just make sure you car is not leaning towards the lakes style (wheels engine etc) and more of a Chrisman Sedan style. Fenders are really nice to have just incase.

I have been digging the idea of HOOD SIDES and no top on a sedan after seeing the Weesner spread in TRJ.

If you were running fenders though I think the no hood is where it's at. Definitely a good idea but if not, think about running the hood side only!!

If you can pull it off fenders are the way to go. And I believe would make your car stand out above the rest...ghost

  11. After lookin' at your photo, I say do it. I think fenders on that car with the hammered top would look pretty mean. If you do run the fenders, please post pictures.

I think that meant he was for them but not for leaving hood off in his own quirky way. C'mon Chuckles it's easy to see that!

I voted no, but I'm going to keep calling you names either way, so what does it matter?

can't see the photo of the sedan with fenders, but i think no fenders because of the '32 style frame.

Don't cry, just send me an intake full of carbs and a grill shell and I'll leave you alone the rest of this week.

When are you gonna finish this thing, anyway? You're way off the usual pace.

Im at work now, but either home or in another pc here i have a picture of a really mean full fendered moredoor tudor w/ real magnesium wheels that im sure you'll appreciate.
I'll do my best to remember postin it.
As for the poll i'd say put'em on then go fenderless when you feel you had enuff of the look.

    Moredoor Tudor??? WTF?

I say fenders...which is odd because I don't like fenders much, but I think they would look pretty schweet, with hood sides and no hood top even schweeter, and with an Olds Rocket (to match the Olds artillery wheels) Schweetist.

Add a hood and it looks like a Bonneville race car.

If you do fenders I say run a hood, at least a hood top.

But either way it'll be righteous.

  28. I'm just not seeing fenders. A little rake, tuck the rear tires in close, and RULE!

So, this is the Lophat cdan, as usual w/ this things i remembered it to be a lil kooler.
Still, i suppose its a good reference for a fendered sedan, the detailing its another story, w/ an old skool or old skool looking engine and "bay" and w/out moon tank it would already be way better.....but this thread aint about this one. Anyway, just my 2 eurocents.

I'm gonna be goin with the fendered look for my T-bucket. I always tought the fenders completed the car. There's over 1000 ways to alter them to make them your's and if you ever get tired of it just unbolt them.
