I've tried everything I can think of to make this but my daughter is getting married Saturday, rehearsal, dinner etc is Friday night, got family coming in Friday, just can't make it. Looks like a really good party!

If you could bring cookies that would be great. We are not sure if there will be a lot of kiddos but we were thinking they would like some kind of sweets.

I think cookies is the one item we have not had many offers on. If anyone else wants to bring any, that would be super cool

The wife picked up plates,cups,plastic wear,napkins and a big bag of chips and sour cream.I am thinking we could use a electric knife since there will be a lot of meats and brisket. So if Austin locals can bring one it will help.

Are there going to be kids there? I was looking for someone to watch my son who is 9. If it will be kid friendly and there might be other kids for him to hang out with I might just bring him along too!

I spoke to John and it is fine if kids come as long as you or an adult stays with them at all times. I am not sure if there will be a lot of other children to play with but he would probably enjoy looking at the cars etc.

Great and we have 2 very large briskets cooked and seasoned and just needs about an hour on the pit to get it warmed up.Man we got a lot of stuff to cram in the coupe so I hope I got enough room left for the old lady--

This sounds right up our alley! I found this by accident googling for something fun to do this Friday. I belong to a group (DraggonSax Motorcycle Club in Pflugerville, which was started by our neighbors and us) that we started, because we wanted, to raise money to help everyday people. We will bring 5 lbs. Elgin sausage to throw on the grill and I will bring a jar of my homemade (local & organic) brisket rub/all purpose seasoning for the auction. I will also check our funds to see how much we can allocate to this cause.

 

How are we looking on cookies at this point? My girlfriend went out this evening and bought 3 of those flat packages of the Nestle Chocolate in the middle cookies to cook. That will only end up being 36 cookies but I will be smelling them for like 5 hours on the trip down there so there might be less when we arrive. :/ Maybe I should go get a few more.
