  1. God bless man... We had our little boy 7 1/2 months ago. He's our first and I'm 40. I know what you mean about gettin' older and father hood. I think a whole lot more about seat belts and roll bars now...

    Rad!
Say, what do ya put over the goldleaf to protect it? Was the whole car clearcoated after the "graphics" were applied?

I'd say you hit the trifecta 55 chev, hemi, and a son. Hope you bought a lotto ticket!

Thanks a Ton Everybody. You Guys caught on to my Badman theme, always loved that model. Would have painted it yellow but I've already had a lemon & one's enough. The color is tidewater blue metallic,2009 Honda Fit. Yes, it's real gold, cut on a plotter & it looks like there's a clear coat on it. The pattern on the gold is called florentine (looks like a bunch of fingerprints). I have started & run in the solid cam on the 392. That electronic Hilborn is Amazing, the thing starts right up & idles, Very responsive too. Just got to get it done for GoodGuys in Des Moines. And Yeah, the kid gets the car, I'll make sure of that.

  15. Congrats! Very cool, both the car and the kid!

FWIW, that Model in the black version with flames was the first kit dad and I built. Would have been 74 or5. I am 40 this fall, do the math. VERY cool ride.

I built that kit many times and one reason I'm going with those old style ladder bars on my car. Very nice ride you got there.
