Here it is: Keep in mind that I've only been messing with the idle screws so far and for the first half of this it was basically out of gas - lot of tuning to do! My neighbor gave me 3 gallons or so and she ran much better! That engine is brand new, so the rings aren't seated - so don't worry about the smoke. I switched shirts halfway through because I promised Artiki that I would wear the flathead meltdown T on the first drive. Today, the car got hubcaps and hood sides.
WOW, what a great little rpu. I like the shock/headlight combo and how the car even goes backwards on it's maiden voyage.
Engine = Counterweighted banger with inserts (Ron Kelly built it), 2x94 carbs, winfield head 6.?:1 compression, FS ignition distributor Trans = t-5 from an S10, lightened flywheel with a dampener in it, open drive on a 46-48 rear Vega steering, stepped model a frame, lincoln brakes up front, stock in the rear, 35 Ford wire wheels, Coker tires, 4-spoke sprint car wheel, autometer gauges, springs reversed with leaves removed, Brookville body (the tub in my avatar is supposed to be on there...) This could not have been built without the HAMB and Eric at Riley Auto.
Ha ha! Just seen this. Great video and thanks for wearing the shirt! The little fella will be a hot rodder for sure!
