    I've got the ole dual quad thing going on my 327 sbc. It took a while to get them dialed in, but they are fun when they are working right.

  9. What kind of fan is that?

    From what I can see the front of the blades is flush with the front of the hub and the blades are not centered on the hub.

    About a 15" diameter?

    Made of a modern plastic of some kind?


    The fan looks good as do the yellow aircleaners.

  10. How do they perform on a 283? Are you happy with them? I was thing of doing this on my 66 283...

    C9, The fan is called a ''Flex Fan" It is made of Plastic and is 18" across.
    Thanks for the kind words ref to the carb tops. I had to make them myself as the Edelbrock manifold puts the carbs very close together and after market tops do not fit these Edelbrock carbs.
    BTW the Flex fan blades like these also come in steel. Sorry to say I don't remember the brand name of mine. Have fun.
