I am setting up a halibrand v/8 quickchange,have never done one before but have done other rears.The only info I have found is the pepe article that is here in the tech archives.My question is pinion depth, the spacer on the pinion that came out is .240,The new one is .250 in the set up article they use a .220. Do you have to keep assembling and disassembling to check? And where is the right pattern,center or out towards edge? Any help on this would be appriciated.
