28/29 A Fuel Tank

I did a search but can't find my answer... Does anyone make a reprodution 28/29 A fuel tank?

 

No tanks just the tops from Brookville.

That cowl top tank will likely NEVER be reproduced due to the liability involved these days.

 

Yup. Lawyers won't let anyone produce a gas tank that is also the dashboard of a modernly built car.

You have to buy old for that, and once they are gone, they are gone!

 

Ya I don't thimk it was the best idea. I will just repair mine. I'm not going to use it for fuel anyways I just want to hide all my MSD Ignition and boost control in it.

 

If you dont use it for gas then how the hell is gas gunna get in your motor everyone knows it dont flow uphill, you'd have to run one of those fuel pump thingies!!

How many run the original tank? Or dont bother and get one that mounts in the trunk?

 

i know a guy that sells them to brookville ! he is a big time collector seller , and sells them his really nice original ones for them to cut up ! i just scored a nice original one that holds gas from him for a song and a dance ! i feel guilty about cutting it up but needed a nice top only since my tanks in the box ! if you really want one i could check with him next time i'm at his place !
