Hello my name is Russell, stumbled across this fine site on a google search.I have been searching the threads for info on my current project,a 50 chevy tin woodie wagon i was given 13 years ago.I have found alot of useful info here, thanks to all who have posted it. I am a chevy guy, started out with my first one in 94,it was a 64 imapal 4 door sport sedan, next was a 64 belair 4 door followed by another 64 belair 4 door, sold all three. Then was given a 50 chevy tin woodie, which has been sitting in the same condition since i got it(in pieces, but mostly complete). next i picked up a 63 nova 4 door wagon,my daily driver for 2+ years, during which i saved a 64 nova 4 door from ecology(althogh they smashed it into tow truck the day i picked it up). had the novas for awhile then sold them both. Now im trying to get my 50 chevy wagon put back toghether and driving(with some help from this sites info) after having it sitting for the past 13 years.I love old cars of all types, growing up in National City california i have seen alot of lowriders in my city, thats most likley why i love old cars.hot rods and customs were few and far between but i love seening them also.most lowriders i remeber from when i was a kid were stock except the rims and sometimes the interior. stock body and upgraded drive train is what i plan to do with my wagon, something simple and reliable,283/327 turbo 350,ifs, power rack, and bags when i can afford it.I hope to be welcome here and if not thanks for the chance, this site is way cool.feel free to ask me anything if you want, hope my intro was up to par, thanks
