I received an email this morning from a local company... Marty, I talked to your teacher Mr. Cughan this morning. We have a Miller XMT-300 Welder and a Miller SA22 Wirefeeder that we will be donating to your school. These machines are by no means new but are fully operational. Your teacher had good things to say about you. It is commendable that you feel strong enough about your program to make this request even though you are graduating. If you ever become interested in a manufacturing job, I would be glad to meet with you. Thanks, Vince Firlotte Facilities Manager Exotic Metals Forming Co LLC
I dig my Miller mig! Just a good mo cheen in itself. Good to hear there are good folks moving them too. Bonus
That's great, but I don't think miller has anything to do with it. They just happen to be millers. Vince & Exotic Metals Forming are the ones that stepped up. Good to hear these kind of stories, congrats on making it happen
yay for vince and exotic metals forming , very cool on their part , i have 2 miller welders and like both machines , small 110 v mig and a 220 ac/dc arc welder
You have done well indeed! kudo to you for your efforts for future students. and kudo go out to Vince. good job, you should be proud.
Well done. Initiative coupled with a little diplomacy goes a long way; clearly, you have more than your fair share of both.
Great Job Dynaflash, Use that attitude and judgement through life and you will do yourself Proud. Gary
Good on Vince! It would have been a shame for short-sighted school administrators to sink a metal fab program because they're too lazy to get creative.
Good going Marty, you are now the official metal/fab shop hero. Keep up the good karma thing ,it will pay off in the future. Jack
Wow, way to stand up and unselfishly do something for someone else! I am impressed, as was Mr. Firlotte, obviously.
That is absolutely fantastic....I bet you feel 10ft tall about now, and you should. I bet you Vince feels pretty good too about now, hell I'm feeling good too after reading this!
