He could be either. I hear there's a lot of strange ducks in Oklahoma. Great car though........:D

  6. Man, I took tons of pics of the engine compartment. It had to be the coolest engine there

When Ron drove through Dewey, it reminded me of the same reaction when Larry drove up in his coupe. When something looks that tuff and you hear it before you see it, how
    can you go wrong.

Guys you just gotta hear it run...

I like the '39 Tudors better than the '40 Tudors. Something about the lights and the grill ---- Maybe it's because you don't see as many of them. 'Betcha a lot of '39s were converted to 40s over the years. Very refreshing to see the '39s nowadays!

It's hard to make a 39/40 sedan look mean. Besides no hood, the louvered deck lid, Stude taillights and nerfs help a lot too.

I have a 46 Tudor I'm gonna have to steal your look for.I sprayed it with DP90 about 15 years ago and the color looks right on(the parts that have been inside that is).I love Tudors but think unless there done like yours there kind of blah (46-8;that is- 39-40's look good no matter what).REALLY COOL!

I have something to strive for... Mine will end up quite similar I hope. The car is dead nuts on Mr. Myers. Wicked.

I heard that song for the first time when I was coming back from Springfield
last year. What a bad attitude song. It fits the 39 purfectly.....

Thanks for posting the you tube site.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Anyone know what color was used on the firewall / motor. I'm looking for a goldish-copper color to paint my flathead and that hue is right on the money.

I really like the subdued color of the car. And it would be a shame to put a hood on that engine compartment.
I was checking out all the cool details on the car on Saturday when my camera battery decided to give out on me.

Love that mill... Although I love the smooth look of 39-40 hoods too. Gives you something to louver!
