Hey Jim, The Vargo boys and myself will be vending out at the show. gotta support The Prof, Scott, Charlie & the Downshifters with gettin' the Swap meet off the ground. We sure need one here locally. Besides, if it's half as good as the Hoe-Down, it'll be a blast. and mannnnn... it's been too long for me since I've raised any hell See ya there.
It was a long tough ride. made it there ok, but overheated on the way home. prolly my fault, I forgot to check the radiator before we left. Anyhow, we're home and had a lot of fun.
Was a pretty nice time. I was there vending under the tent. Some really nice cars there, should have brought my camera as they all had to pass me to get to the show field. Picked up another way cool Jim H work shirt too ! Anybody see the old guy bitching to Furry about the music being too loud? Classic Steve
It was a cool show for sure. The traffic on 513 SUCKED going there. Saw some cool cars and also some scary shit too... ANYONE get a look at the steering setup on the T Fordor R*Trod? I got the shakes just looking at it. Should have snapped a pic of it!
It was def a great show and well worth the drive, even with getting lost on the ride home since I thought I didn't have to follow directions and could get home quickier with "shortcuts". But of course I was wrong and it took over 2 and half hours to get back home but ohh well, atleast i put over 200 miles on the truck today with no problems. and bad71burb I forgot my camera so I couldn't snap any pictures of the hell rod, it just might be a good thing nobody has pictures of it soo far.....
Trust me Brucie, if its the car I think it is, you dont want to see it..... If a pile of shit could take a shit, it still wouldn't describe it. Steve
It really was a great place for a show except for the soggy ground. Charlie and the guys deserved to get a good show off, after the last 2 years of rain spoiled dates and the trouble they ran into having to cancel the winter date at the last minute. Looks like this is an annual and I can't wait for the HoeDown in sept. thanx to everybody that purchased shirts and art from me. Anybody get shots of the kids walking around in the Rat Fink costumes? Did'nt get to talk to everybody since the stuff was pretty spread out.
oh yeah, i know the car... somebody has to post a picture of it bet they ride in a lotta halloween parades and haunted hayrides
