I hope they are nice quality and aren't out of my very low price range. They will still have the bolt holes though won't they? I want to shave the bolts too.
Great to hear! But like so many other concerns, I hope the price is right. Not like the ridiculous prices every place asks for repop grill parts.
I'm curious to see the price, my 53 has the 1 piece bumpers the front is in good shape, but the rear needs a little help. hey cretin ive heard of a few ways to shave the bolts, which way are you going to do yours?
Hadn't really thought about it yet but probably just cut of the heads of the bolts, weld 'em on, and grind.
I assume this topic was/is about a supplier who puts 53/54 bumpers on the market ? This can be old news, but I still can't find new bumpers for my '53 chevy. Does anyone knows if they are available and where they are available ? Thanks John
For those who are still interested, I saw they sell them now at Chevs of the 40s. I'm in doubt to rechrome mine or buy new ones, so I'm curious about the quality http://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detail..._REAR_ONEPIECE_CHROME_EXC_SEDAN_DELIVERY.html
Bought some for the wifes '50 from Chevs of the 40's. Made in Taiwan, but really pretty nice. Buddy of mine bought some for his '54 from Bumper Boyz, ours are heavier. He also had some chrome issues, but they made it right.
