According to the July 2008 Rod & Custom feature on HEMROD. 18-inch "Firestone bias-plies (4.00s and 7.00s) give the Tudor some rake."
No pics, but it's being painted as I type! Then......FINAL ASSEMBLY Eric's committed to having it finished for the Hot Rod Nationals June 12 - 14, 2009
Just had a peek at the fresh paint yesterday... friggin' sweet! And the accent color on the driveline is just fantastic... like DOW-7 from outer space AND the future! No pics, cuz I'm no narc!
I agree, I dont think that it looks as good as a regular insert, I guess they were going for an asymmetrical look.
Don't you mean symmetrical? Actually there is only one crank hole in that grille. It's an illusion because the spacing on the grille bars are so perfect, that when viewed from the right angles, the crank hole is reflected up to the top of the grille.
I was down at Squeeg's Kustoms a couple months ago on vacation I saw two holes I have pics some where I will have to dig them up. The green color is wild best candy paint I have ever seen.
Wow! That's all I can say. I saw the car at the GNRS, but just stumbled upon this thread. Thanx for the updates.
Pinkee's website has a few pictures of the car painted. http://www.pinkeesrodshop.com/1932_Ford_Tudor_HEMROD-s34.aspx
