Yea Saturday was a little wild, an elderly neighbor lady three doors down had her house hit by lightning. Blew a hole in the garage roof and set it on fire. Fire dept got it out quick. North part of Enid took a pretty good hit with a couple small twisters. We are fine.

 

I said a prayer for ya brother didn't want ya to go through a twister. Really I was concerned about Terry and the Hot Rod....LOL !!!

W.L. called me the other evening to see if I was coming, I'm going to try my best to get there.

The highlight of Rods last Friday night was W.L came walking up to me. He did a lot
of welding on the first version of my Merc and had'nt seen it for years. I told him to get
in and he about cried telling me about the old war stories with the Merc build. He loved
the new version better and was glad that I was keeping it early fifties style. If you will
go look at twotalls post it has a picture of us both talking chop.

Very kool guy and we are trying to get his truck out of his garage and have it at the
show. When is the last time that you've seen a chop'd section'd five window pickup.
Becasue of our special Merc gathering he thought that he couldn't miss it..... I hope
that he shows up this weekend.

This morning they said Friday and Saturday night we had chances of rain. The weather guy said that the front was going to be south of Tulsa so we should be Ok.. If it is over cast all day thats all right.

There is an awesome place for BBQ and Ribs and its all you can eat......

 

I have eaten at Murphy's many many times Got to love those hamburger steaks and onions covered in gravy.
Makes me hungary just thinking about it.
