Who all is headed to New Braunfels for the swap meet this year? If any vendors have a spare "lot" they'd sell, please let me know via PM. I was too late and it sold out!
I'll be there hanging out with the Inliners and some of the Bonneville crowd. Look for the Inliners International banner..
It's on something like 5 acres or so of land, and there are no spaces left, not really too many vendors, mostly individuals selling, they also have golf carts, rhino's, and such, some with little trailers to carry the heavy stuff out for you to where you park.
Damn I really need to unload some stuff to have some cash so I can build my Anglia. If anyone knows of a spot that comes up, I only need it for Saturday, please let me know.
Headed up super early with Slick Willie and Nunzy. If you see an ugly dude in a Barons shirt, you've found Willy or my shirt has been stolen. Either way, stop and say howdy.

NOS tail pan for the 51 $50 Really nice tank for my Triumph project $60 Vent mechanism for my 33 $7 One of the better swaps I have been to in quite some time form a deal perspective.
I met Alan in spaces 93B and 95B. Probably saw several of you, but didn't know it. If you saw a big fella with a black shirt(mistake) and long hair, trailing a wife and three kids(with toolboxes) behind - that was me. I think my kids scored better deals than I did, but now they all have their first toolboxes. $1 - toolbox with no tray $2 - 3 Hot Wheels in packages(not anymore) $3 - push scooter with inflatable tires(yard sale outside of the fairgrounds) $3 - toolbox with tray $3 - Cornwell wrench tray(organizer) with handle $5 - toolbox opens like tackle box - 2 trays each side - same guy gave the boys each one free tool(that dude rocks) $5 - stickers for toolboxes - a must $10 - 4 shake flashlights(one for momma, too) $10 - dremmel bit set, 2 paint/rust stripper wheels, 2 giant rings for wrenches $15 - 3 6-way screwdrivers, 4 bit drivers w/storage in handle, and a made in USA compression tester Pictures are below. (all 9 of them - hey, I was there to shop) Hmm - We need more vise grips.
I didn't buy a god damned thing. Although I was tempted on some early Ford parts, I'm not building another rod for a while since I'm doing the Anglia, so I was looking for drag related stuff. There was some good stuff this year, but some prices were a bit out of wack. I went back today (sunday) around 3pm and the place was empty with only a few vendors left. Friend of mine bought a running/driving/titled '64 Galaxie 2dr Hardtop for $1,300.
Oh man - I went - but didnt get there til about 3pm and most people had all packed up by then. Not much to be found. Oh well. Next year, I make room on Saturday for sure.
Got a complete F-1 brake set up that is all new for $10. 32 taillight for $8. Bought a 48 trans for $50. I did not buy a complete 50 pick up trans for $50- Rusty.
Yeah, it was a post. I only saw it for a few seconds because I didn't think he was serious about it. He went back later that night and paid for it, and the seller delivered it to south austin that night for $15. Tinkered with it a bit on Sunday, floor shifter is out of whack, needs a tune, but a very solid car.
