What do you think? Seen it on a local classified site. $4000. I'm wondering if maybe sport coupe with a sedan top? What ever was done, looks to be done awhile ago.
maybe its one of those RARE canadian 3 windows... if you look closely you can see the body line and rear window reveal just behind the door... prolly a sedan roof.
I've got a '29 Sports Coupe that I'm turning into a Roadster.. and I'm almost a hundred percent sure that's a Sports Coupe with a Sedan top judging by the belt line that starts at the belt line of the door. Then the belt line on the top goes up and disappears into the door just under the top of the door.. I don't see how it would be something else. It's a pretty original idea to use a Sedan top on a Sports Coupe, I would just change the belt line on the Sedan top though.
That's always been my understanding but didn't they all come with that canvas camper/kitchen option? Frank
IMHO,..... I don't think so, the quarter panels on a sport coupe start to drop on a angel at the end of the roof line, the quarters on the car in question go straight back before they start to roll down,..... just like a roadster. I'm with dreddybear on this one, looks like roadster quarters and a sedan rear roof section.
Except that three window Model A's were never made (other than the Sport Coupes). That has been beaten to death on various threads here.
