Question: Flamethrower

Anyone go to this event or can tell me how they are making the flame throwers so violent? That's beyond anything I have seen any sleds or customs throw.

propane burns cleaner than that doesnt it?

 

what about acetylene? in a high preasure tank
propane just wont do it

 

use white gas and welding oxygen

That's propane. I think the setup in the first video is diesel injection maybe.

 

I always thought flames out the back was really cool but looks dangerous and destructive to the rear of the car.

 

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

 

I just dont get the HUGE thing. Why??? its just stupid. Blow something so way out of proportion. Its like a circus attraction. I'm not baggin on flamethrowers, I run them on my merc. I might just be getting older and more grumpy..lol
