One of the many things I recall about raceway park or Blue Island was that the rules for 2 classes plus demo derby were on one sheet of paper front and back. Check the detail of the front bumper bracing on ole buds car. RP was a contact track. of the around 10 times I went to RP Bud Kohler won most of the races and I was told he won the track championship over 10 times. Later Bobby..
The racing memorobilia show in Peotone, Illinois was alot bigger and better attended than I expected. Really neat to see quite a few of the old times there. Tons of diecast, and old racing pics. This was my first time attending, and it's on my list of to do's every year now.
