Greg, Great job man! What a cool ROD! You gotta be proud of that one. If I see it this summer, I'll definately check it out!
gregg, great shots of the rod but nothing beats actually seeing it come together, over the years, in the flesh. It was like being on the set of discovery channel.Great job!
hey Ron cool pics , Ed, discovery channel maybe ,but more like wild animal kingdom, but at least the cops havent shown up ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yet!
You've got to have a real vision to keep after a car project for a long time. I've got a '32 5w that has been in the shop for over 35 years. About 200 cars have come and gone over that time and it remains the ONLY one that I'll never get rid of. Frank
thanks guys ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,35 years, wow you got me beat,,,,you no as Im looking at all the pics I have of this thing over the years Im thinking 2 things ,Ive done a ton of work to this thing and,,,,, man Im getting old
Nice ride-that caddy 500 looks a hell of a tire smoker! When its done your brother will love his new ride!
Greg, Great story, great car, and a great stance. I fires me up to hear stories about persistence and perseverance in the face of long odds. Your very first stop should be to visit the guy you bought the car from. Thor
Tough looking coupe-very nice work. Love the chop/lines of the car! I've also got a long term hammered 34 5/w that started out really rough w/o floor, firewall, etc. Your story is an inspiration to finish mine.
Great car, great story, and a great job on it! I have to say I love the paint scheme too. My uncle had a HVAC business in the 50's & 60's and his trucks were painted those same colors. In the mid 60's I was a ten year old kid, and I remember playing in his junked trucks out behind my grandparent's barn. The faded out patina of those trucks is exactly what you captured on your coupe. As soon as I saw your pictures it took me back 40+ years to those long forgotten memories. Thanks!
Whats up man? good catchin up w ya at the show, let me know if you guys are hittin any others this month. Car looks good bro
Sick car, sick story, i thought my story of loving muscle cars since i was 6 and a week after i graduated college buying a decent one and restoring it over the summer instead of backpacking through europe....and the best part is that beautiful thing is in MA :-D. I didn't realize how many ppl on the hamb were from around here. Someone let me know when the meets around here are. I only know of some really locals where mostly muscle cars show.
