AMEN! When you get down to it, it's a car. Most folks ARE respectful. To me there is nothing neater than the look on a kids face when you ask him if he'd like to sit in your hot rod. It's well worth the dirt he may track in.

I saw this one at a car show several years ago. It was on a Mustang convertible that had a surfboard in the back seat.

Small sign on the vent windows of my '72 GMC
"If you value your life as much as I value this truck - DON'T F**K WITH IT!"

Once I was volunteered to drive my elderly very formal Aunt to the bus depot to return her home (That's right a pleasure trip)
And while getting in the truck she stopped and read it!
I tried to stop her but she wouldn't!
When she reached the F-bomb I thought she would swallow her face:eek::eek:

I don't have any stickers or put signs on any of my vehicles.

Here's one I had to stop and take a pic of though...

Lots of people don't know what a Willys is at shows so I register my 33 Willys delivery as a Dodge-Rambler. People are happy with that because they have heard both brands before.

Next time you are leaving an event tape a large sign on a friends trunk or tailgate "LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE HOMOSEXUAL LIFESTYLE". Of course there are several variations to this, just be creative.

OK, this is not on my car, but I used to work at a garage that did lots of mechanical work for a crash shop. One day a car came in with this on the drivers side low on the windshield. I just had to take a pic of it!

Just have to add another; There's a really good show here every year, Colorado Mopar club. It's Mopar Only. They turned me away so I made a sign scribbled with bold sharpie,
MORPOUR POWERED. I double parked by the entrance but didn't register. Somebody questioned me, of course, but it never esclated to them actually running me off. Had a nice day visiting with a great bunch of people.

Yep, made that years event coverage. The next month the mag ran the same photo again and told their readers how that car burned in a shop fire shortly after I returned home from the trip.

  27. Sorry it's not on a car but I figured some of you might get a kick out it. The funniest sign I've ever seen is on the garage door of one of our rental properties. My Dad put it there right after he leased it to the current guy. It's not in the best part of town and there had been some trouble with loitering late at night. It's just about 4"X4", and it's right beside the door handle. It reads,

"Anyone found here at night will be found here in the morning."

As the sign over the door proudly anounces, the business inside is an embalmer.

This is "The Coopster", its kind of like the Roaming Nome, it just appears out of anywhere. Don't know if you would consider this a "sign", but it somehow made it on the side of my Caddy when I walked out of Long John Silvers... I have such great friends and great parents:rolleyes:
