first chop

    this was my first chop, it took 4 days. its just tacked.

    we removed the 2 inches above the front windsheild, 2 inches over the rear window. i can use the stock size glass. the doos are cut 2 inches also. Its just 2 inches, but it looks 10 inches better.

    2 inches is a good number. My '53 is only chopped 2 inches at the windshield posts, and I took another inch or so out of the crown. Looks slick as hell compared to stock, and I can still see traffic lights.
     
  11. I really like the way these look when the profile above the glass is reduced...

    I think everyone asked about the glass because the wrap-around is tempered...

    A lot of people won't even notice the cut unless parked next to a stock one, as you essentially just sectioned the top of the roof and maintained the windshield and back glass...

    I like it. Keep us updated.
