Well, since you offered, how about front and rear tire sizes. It's exactly the look I want for my 56 and I'm not much for experimenting.

    Once again, thank you...

I have to agree no matter what state or class (beater, driver, show, or trailer hauled) there is something for everyone who likes F100's

  15. Hey guys - just to clarify the only pic I posted that was my personal truck is the white '54.

To answer anyone that has sent emails or posted questions here - I have only collected these pics over the years, I do not own these cars, I cannot tell you anything about the mechanics, etc...

    Sorry.

  16. Still have a project 55 F100 For Sale, stock front end rebuilt, 9 in rear, new wiring and duel master are not completly installed. Truck in PA

  17. Ok, some realy GREAT trucks on here. Amazing stuff. I'll throw my Merc in the mix. What would you expect from a Canuck?
Should be on the road end of Feb/2009.

care to share any details on yours C&C, I always liked the look of the 53-4" the best? I like the white color and wheel and tire combo. What power train are you running? Do you still have a straight axle, is it dropped any?

  22. It's a '54. A lot of people hate the grill, but I like it even more because of that. Painted it "header white" for lack of a better name. Stock interior - bench, rubber mat, etc. Still has the stock 223 with chrome valve cover and side cover, but nothing too fancy (they are old units). Three on the tree. The wheels are 15X6 up front and 15X7 in the rear with 205/70 & 235/75. Chrome rings and baldy caps. Front axle is a 2" drop. It has old chrome on it, but still in decent shape. Truck is exactly what I wanted - very plain and understated. Built it in a 2 car garage in about ten months with a grinder and hand tools for about 11K including tax and license...

Vin plate will be inside the glove box on the door. 58 Will have round parking lights 59 will have rectangular. Hoods are different as well. There is also a slight difference in the grills. Good luck
