  1. Just so you know, that spanish moss was used for mattress ticking and full of little mites.

Now-a-days, that would be 20K in body damage, plus multiple lawsuits.

    .

    Great Find, Thanks for posting...

I'll probably spend a couple days wading around in there.. More and more great Libraries are coming online.

Can't wait to see how things look in 3 or 5 years.
I never could have imagined what the internet would become while playing with 120 baud modems on our high tech Vic 20's not so long ago.

Cool, that Sinclair station in Monticello is still there, a vegetable market now(or at least it was when I was there last year). I have wondered for years what it used to look like, and now I know.

Sure wish we could go back and spend a couple days/weeks in that period.

I may be wrong but it seemed to be much more simpler......:)

  15. Yes, I got sucked in by the "atom smasher" as it was still used in the mid-seventies! You put your best oil in a little dish. Then pushed down on a torque wrench and burned up a small bearing. Then you added a few drops of "special oil additive" and tried again. The bearing would not burn up no matter how hard you pushed on the torque wrench!

  16. That's what I was thinkin'. That guy with a car full of Spanish Moss has a car full of red bugs (chiggers for you yankees).
